I founded Victory for Equality in 2006. A foundation named after my brother Victor who died in a car accident.
Victory for Equality (V4E) is a Dutch-based non-profit organisation focusing on a peaceful and equal future for people, who are affected and harmed by inequality. We have been working in different continents and countries. Our main projects have taken place in South America and Africa.
The working method of the foundation relies very heavily on my anthropological field work and working together with the local people and from ‘within’ the cultural context itself.
Over the last years we have grown into a full organization.
I still manage the Foundation as a daily Director.
